Meet the Doctor
Dr.
Chad Jenkins is a 2005 Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport,
Iowa. He is a native of Virginia Beach and graduated from Kempsville High
School in 1993. He is excited to be back
in the Hampton Roads community to serve and educate others on the principles of
natural healing and chiropractic.
As an avid speaker on
various health topics, Dr. Chad has spoken to many organizations including Wal-Mart,
Sam’s Club, YMCA, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, community
centers, senior citizen centers and to churches as a health minister. He also donates his time conducting free
health screenings and presenting various healthcare topics classes on a weekly
basis. As a result of his community
outreach and educational programs, Dr. Chad has helped children and parents in
the community begin the journey of living healthy, drug free lives.
Dr.
Chad has spent six years mastering an advanced chiropractic method of treatment
called the Gonstead System. He has
attended seminars in Parkview, Iowa and Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin completing over 625
hours of advanced training. His
knowledge base and clinical skills awarded him the opportunity to teach the
system to other students and doctors of chiropractic at training programs
around the country. He is always excited to use this system in a clinical
setting to help people reach optimal health as well as in the academic setting
teaching other doctors the power of the Gonstead System. As a Gonstead practitioner, he utilizes five
criteria to detect the presence of the vertebral subluxation, along with using
the latest in Chiropractic Technology- Computerized Diagnostic Imaging, which
measures nervous system function.
He
is also an active member or past member of the Gonstead Methodology Institute,
Gonstead Clinical Studies Society, International Chiropractic Association,
World Chiropractic Association, the Virginia Society of Chiropractic and Christian
Chiropractic Association. He has
received the Excellence Award in 2005, for his excellence and commitment to chiropractic
from the Troxell Intern Program, as well as the honor to be chosen as an
Instructor for the Gonstead Methodology Institute. Dr. Chad has also studied under and continues
to study under many of the world’s elite chiropractors.
Dr.
Chad’s motto for his life and his practice is to serve God by serving man,
through the vehicle of chiropractic and to empower people with the truth of God’s
awesome healing power. He loves to share
the magnificence of the body’s creation and ability to heal. His specialty is in chiropractic care for the
entire family, focusing his dedication and commitment to helping families live
healthier, happier, more productive, higher quality lives. He wants to serve as
many people as possible, however, he seeks only those people who truly have a
desire to improve and maintain their health. He understands that health and healing are an
on-going process and wants to give his time to all those who desire to commit
first to themselves on their journey to wellness.
